Simpson Thacher & Bartlett has ramped up its executive compensation capabilities, snaring a partner from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.
Tristan Brown will join the firm as partner in Simpson Thacher’s Palo Alto, California office in the executive compensation and employee benefits group.
Firm chairman Pete Ruegger said: “Tristan will advise clients on a broad range of employee compensation and benefit matters. His skill and experience will be an important addition to the Firm and will enhance our practice in Silicon Valley”
