Simmons retains managing partner

• Simmons & Simmons has reappointed managing partner Mark Dawkins for a further three years.

Dawkins will spearhead the firm's bid to expand its international corporate practice and secure more high-profile M&A work.

Simmons announced double-digit growth last year and aims toensure faster revenue growth.

Dawkins, who was unopposed, said: "I thoroughly enjoyed my first term, benefiting directly from the support of the board and the partnership in progressing a number of key objectives." His second term will run from May this year until April 2011.
