Simmons in Lisbon

In the first transaction of its kind, Simmons & Simmons' joint venture Lisbon office, Grupo Legal Portugues, advised Deutsche Morgan Grenfell on the Portuguese aspects of the structuring and implementation of an auto loan receivables securitisation for Tecnicredito - Financiamento de Aquisicoes a Credito SA, a Portuguese financing entity specialising in auto loans. Grupo Legal Portugues, created at the beginning of 1992, is a joint venture between Simmons & Simmons, J&A Garrigues of Spain, F Castelo Branco, Nobre Guedes & P Rebelo de Sousa of Portugal and Pinheiro Neto of Brazil.
