They have fallen to a place in the squeezed middle of the mid market and appear to be stuck there. They have been totally left behind by firms which would have been viewed as peers variously five, 10 and 15 years ago. Reply Link Anonymous 29 March 2012 at 06:41 I totally understand what the first comment (at 11:48am) is saying – Simmons still has a decent name, but it is a firm whose best days seem well and truly behind it. It is not so long ago that the firm was on an equal footing to the likes of Lovells – what happened? New initiatives may come and go, but the firm seems to remain on the same old track regardless.
