New technology is sweeping the courtrooms of England and Wales. But its existence is apparently foxing the most brilliant legal minds.
Just last week one criminal silk was discovered in an Old Bailey robing room staring helplessly at the computer screen in front of him. The tech-challenged lawyer was having some difficulty ‘logging in’, whatever that is. This was a shame, because without getting onto the information screens scattered around the Bailey’s corridors he was unable to tell which case he was involved in and on whose behalf.
