US firm Sidley Austin has added four lawyers to its partnership in London in a 28-strong round of annual promotions.
The new City partners are John McGrath (international finance), Philip Taylor (corporate reorganisation and bankruptcy), Nicholas Turner (employment), and David Went (antitrust/competition).
In a statement the firm’s executive committee chair Thomas Cole said: “It’s my privilege to announce Sidley’s new class of partners and to welcome John, Phillip, Nicholas and David to the partnership.”
London managing partner Drew Scott added: “Each of our new partners in London embodies Sidley’s commitment to the highest standard of quality and client service. We’re delighted that John, Phillip, Nicholas and David have joined us as partners.”
