Sidley Austin Brown & Wood has raided Ashurst to secure finance partner Stephen Clark.
The acquisition and property finance specialist joins the firm’s London office. He counts HSBC among his clients.
The hire follows last year’s recruitment of Linklaters securitisation star Richard Hughes and Sidley hopes Clark’s hire will complement its securitisation and structured finance offering in London.
The hire brings to 22 the number of partners in Sidley’s London office. The vast majority focus on securitisation, structured finance and structured real estate.
