The Suez-Gaz de France (GdF) merger has been complicated by some lawyers playing musical chairs. Agathe Soilleux, a French M&A lawyer formerly at Suez adviser Linklaters, moved to Weil Gotshal & Manges. Fortunately Weil was also instructed on the same side.
