Shoosmiths is sealing its reputation as one of the best firms for graduate legal training after they were announced as nominees for two prestigious awards at the LawCareers.Net and Recruitment Awards.
This year, the firm is up for Best Trainer – National/Large Regional Firm, and Best Training Principal (large trainee intake), for which corporate partner Lynn Knight has been nominated. Shoosmiths has taken home the ‘Best Trainer’ trophy for the last three years and Lynn has been nominated for Best Training Principal on the last three occasions.
In recent years the firm – which scooped ‘UK Law Firm of the Year’ at The British Legal Awards 2015 – has won a cascade of graduate recruitment and training awards, including a ‘Commendation for Diversity’ by LawCareers.net (2015), ‘Best Trainer’ by LawCareers.net (2013, 2014 & 2015) and ‘Best Graduate Employer’ by Legal Week (2014), amongst other award wins and nominations.
