Shoosmiths has installed a new head for its Manchester office.
Partner Harold Brako takes up the role with immediate effect. Northampton-based partner Waine Mannix, who is also head of the firm’s lenders service group, has been in the role since the firm opened in Spinningfields in January 2009.
Mannix said: “Given the opportunities in the local market coupled with the size and multi-discipline make up of the office now, it’s the right time for a resident office head to be appointed.
“Harold’s perfect for the role, and will perform it alongside developing our receivables finance and banking litigation offerings.”
Brako specialises in banking and finance litigation and dispute resolution, working with members of the Asset Based Finance Association, and the Finance and Leasing Association.
