Shoosmiths hires partner for consumer arm

Shoosmiths has brought in a new partner for Access Legal, the firm’s consumer legal services brand. Personal injury (PI) specialist Debra Woolfson joins the firm from Pannone.
Her arrival is the first hire for the firm’s Manchester office, which opened in January 2009, and comes two months after Shoosmiths announced plans for the Manchester office to go full-service.
Access Legal was launched on 1 February and focuses on conveyancing, employment law, PI, legal disputes, medical negligence, motoring, and wills, family and wealth.
