Shoosmiths appoints Tye and Jump as partners in its planning team

Lisa Tye and Kathryn Jump have joined Shoosmiths as partners at the firm’s Manchester office, where they will be working alongside associate Melanie Grimshaw and solicitor Marcus Woody.

Tye and Jump, who have worked together for many years, specialise in regeneration and mixed-use schemes, acting for major supermarkets, developers, housebuilders, utility companies and local authorities. Both have experience in the renewable energy sector.

Their arrival brings the number of Shoosmiths’ specialist planning lawyers to 11.
