Shoosmiths is building upon its successful Recoveries Services Group (RSG) with the appointment of consultant, Stephen Allinson, who will support the firm in its strategy to become the leading recoveries litigation operation in the UK.
Stephen will be responsible for continuing the growth of recoveries services for corporate and business clients including the set up and management of a new volume insolvency recoveries service at the firm.
He began his legal career at Clarke Wilmott where he spent 25 years developing their debt recovery and insolvency team into a leading national practice. He joins Shoosmiths from Lester Aldridge, where he has practised as a consultant solicitor for the last four years. As well as being a licensed insolvency practitioner, his specialisms also include contentious and bulk debt collection, and Stephen has recently written a definitive book on all aspects of enforcement.
