A LAW firm this week launches a holiday hotline for clients whose fun in the sun turns to pain in Spain.

The Reading office of Shoosmiths & Harrison is offering free initial advice to victims of holiday accidents.

Paul Paxton, head of the personal injury department, says the service has been set up in response to the increasing number of people seeking advice about leisure-related accidents.

"Already this summer we have attracted a number of holiday accident claims ranging from straightforward road traffic incidents through to the Blackpool Leisure Beach roller coaster crash.

During the month-long promotion, victims and their families are being encouraged to make reverse charge calls for immediate advice.

A quick assessment of liability will also be made with a view to arranging a later appointment.

Paxton says the firm is soon to launch its own accident line and will be able to refer clients to its network of legal contacts in America and Europe.
