Scottish firm Shepherd and Wedderburn has elected corporate chief James Will as its new chairman.
He will succeed the retiring Hugh Donald in the top job, with Andrew Blain stepping into the role of head of corporate.
Will has been a partner for more than 20 years and has served on the firm’s partnership board.
Chief executive Patrick Andrews said of Will: “His experience and dedication will stand him in good stead to steer the board and the firm’s strategy forward through a changing market.” In addition, the firm has boosted its London corporate team with the promotion to partner of associate Guy Winter.
