Shepherd & Wedderburn has secured employment litigation specialist Susan Craig from Edinburgh firm Brodies.
Craig brings the number of Shepherd & Wedderburn lawyers accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as employment law specialists to four, the largest number in any firm. She is also the only solicitor advocate at the firm. Sheila Gunn, head of the employment unit at Shepherd & Wedderburn, said: "We're already a strong practice and I think Susan, who specialises in the contentious side, and myself in the non-contentious side, make us an overwhelming dynamic in the Scottish market. She is an extremely heavyweight player." Brodies has also appointed a new partner, Robin Macpherson, to the firm's litigation department. Macpherson is the former head of litigation at Robson McLean.
