Shearman's former City chief takes GC role at UK Green Investments
Shearman & Sterling former London managing partner Kenneth MacRitchie is set to leave the firm to join UK Green Investments (UKGI) as general counsel.

The project finance partner will work on structuring UKGI, which is set to pave the way for the Green Investment Bank, an organisation aimed at driving investment in green infrastructure in the UK.
MacRitchie stood down as the US firm’s London chief in 2008 and was replaced by acquisition finance partner Anthony Ward (7 April 2008).
He also stood down from the firm’s global executive committee, which was streamlined by management (18 April 2008).
He advised on a number of key infrastructure deals, including acting for Tata Steel on a major project in the North East this year (7 March 2011).
