Shearman & Sterling has had a rejig in Singapore, transferring two partners, including Asian managing partner Whitney Pidot, to other jurisdictions, and relocating a third back into the Singapore office.
Pidot, who will retain the title of Asian managing partner, is to relocate back to New York. He has been based in Singapore for two years.
Capital markets partner Richard Price is being relocated to London to support Linklaters hire Peter King. Capital markets partner Oren Azar will return to Singapore from New York, where he has been based for the past couple of years, to fill Price's place.
Pidot said that it was never intended that he should stay for more than two years.
Project finance partner Calvert Millar will take over as managing partner in the Singapore office.
