Shearman & Sterling’s London office has added another string to its bow as it expands into intellectual property (IP) through the hire of its first UK specialist.
Deborah Lincoln, formerly a partner at Davenport Lyons after spending time as a consultant at Linklaters, is moving to Shearman as a senior associate. It is expected that she will work closely with highly-rated M&A partner Peter King, who also practised at Linklaters.
During her career, Lincoln has acted on a number of high profile transactions including the IP and IT aspects connected to Burberry’s flotation on the London Stock Exchange.
