  • A classic example of a rather sad situation where the bigger firm is conducting a hostile takeover and the naive smaller firm partners mostly think its a merger. Reality is it is an aggressive takeover by Paul Wilson which has been made easy because of the personal interests of a very few partners at the smaller firm who have created a wholly inflated impression amongst their partners that a "fire sale" was necessary. A pity for the majority concerned.
