Leeds law firm Nelson & Co has a new hierarchy in place after new senior and managing partners were appointed.
`Former head of litigation Keith Nightingale has become senior partner while a rationalised management structure sees Andrew Linden assume the mantle of managing partner.`Nightingale said he was looking forward to being an ambassador for the 14-partner firm. Linden, too, is keen to use his new management role to make the practice more progressive.`Nelsons will move to new premises within 12 months.`Nightingale and Linden have been with Nelson for some time. Linden was an articled clerk at Nelsons and Nightingale has amassed 29 years' service.`The new roles represent an internal restructuring. Before this shake-up, Mark Overend carried out the duties of both roles. Overend is to take semi-retirement and was unavailable for comment.
