Shadbolts hikes London presence

Niche construction firm Shadbolt & Co has expanded its London presence with the transfer of the firm’s head of construction dispute resolution from Reigate.
Anthony Albertini moved at the beginning of July, taking the number of permanent partners in the City office to five, although there are other partners who split their time between London and the head office in Reigate.
“We’re committed to maintaining a leading presence in the field of construction law and to providing a service to clients that prefer a presence in the City,” said Shadbolts London head Roger Button.
The London office opened in 1998 as part of a strategic drive to better serve the firm’s larger City and international clients.
“We’ve seen a steady expansion in London on the back of international work,” Button added.
However, an increase in large UK infrastructure
work, such as the London Underground public-private partnership, has also been keeping the team busy.
Shadbolts has offices in Reigate, London, Paris and Athens, and an associated office in Tanzania. Last year it closed its two-partner Hong Kong office. It now houses 22 partners worldwide.
