The new salaried partners are the first new partners since Bircham dispensed with the PQE system of grading solicitors in favour of a performance-based structure known as the 'career development framework' (CDF) earlier this month.
Senior partner Ian McCulloch said: "CDF is much more focused on giving a clear career path."
The firm has promoted two each in the real estate, PPP and commercial departments and one in employment.
The CDF establishes four levels of seniority: solicitor, associate, senior associate and partner. Since its implementation, Bircham has also promoted nine lawyers to senior associate level and 23 to associate.
