Serbian DPA issues second-ever approval for the transfer of personal data out of Serbia

The Serbian Data Protection Authority (DPA) has issued its second-ever approval for the transfer of personal data out of Serbia.

This approval, the equivalent of the first approval of this kind issued by the DPA in 2011 (for transfer to the data processor in the US) was obtained by Karanovic & Nikolic for one of its clients.

With this approval, the DPA has allowed a Serbian company (data controller) to transfer certain personal data to an Indian company (the data processor) with the purpose of providing technical support to the Serbian company.
