Who would’ve thunk it? Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom’s European managing partner Bruce Buck isn’t actually a lawyer, but is in fact a bobby socks-lovin’, sing-a-long-a-hummin’ throwback to the good ol’ days. That’s right, The Lawyer can reveal that Buck, the man with the driest wit in law, is in fact Coach Calhoun from 1970s favourite Grease. So yes, while the resemblance isn’t blinding from the photos, one viewing of the film classic will surely show that the similarities are manifold. Maybe Buck’s fellow lawyers should start calling him ‘the coach’ in deal meetings. No doubt he’d love that.
