The assembled throng at The Lawyer Awards in June was astounded when Martin Clunes, still best known for his role in the seminal 1990s lads-com Men Behaving Badly, bounded up on stage to collect the Niche Firm of the Year Award on behalf of Yorkshire firm Gordons. The Wimbledon-born Clunes has clearly been tiring of the pace of city life (have you seen William and Mary?) and looks to have found himself a new home up North.
