Mishcon de Reya has bolstered its wealth-planning group after raiding West End firm Seddons for a specialist residential real estate team.
The firm has hired Ned El-Imad as a partner along with assistants James Liffen, Julie Bond, Ruth McKenzie and Sarah Callaghan.
Mishcon said it had witnessed an increased demand for specialist property services from its international high-net-worth client base and was looking to diversify its property practice.
Mishcon real estate group head Nick Doffman said: “Our private wealth team is increasingly acting on high-value residential purchases and sales, particularly for private overseas investors, and Ned’s team will enable us to offer a unique service.”
The team specialises in premium residential transactions. In July managing partner Kevin Gold said Mishcon partners were set to invest heavily in new offices to accommodate a growing partner base.
