Saatchi and Saatchi faces a $10m (u6m) lawsuit for making a bad television advertisement, which left its client very unhappy. The advert for Just For Feet, a sports shoe chain, was condemned after it showed a black man running barefoot while being pursued by white men who caught him, drugged him and placed a pair of Nikes on his feet, prompting him to cry: "No," before running off.
Just for Feet's share price plummeted from $19 to $6, its $7m ad campaign evaporated and sales plummeted. Saatchis says it is not guilty of low professional standards because none exist in TV advertising.
