Scottish referendum gives narrow backing to ABSs

  • "Because the SLAS had arranged so many proxy votes in its favour it was felt that the outcome would be misrepresentative."
    This gives a somewhat disturbing impression that the first result was the "wrong" one, so someone, somewhere wanted to make sure the "right" result was obtained.
    Presumably they have been on fact-finding missions to see how presidential votes get counted in Florida and how EU referendums get re-run!
