Scottish firms fight back

  • "Larger Scottish firms without London offices fare better than the rest" - and yet the firm with the highest revenue is the only one in London, and the article discards Dickson Minto, Pinsent Masons and DWF Biggart Baillie.

    If all of these firms concentrate solely on the Scottish market, they are competing for a cake which is static or getting smaller. Surely that means the only way to grow is by winning market share, through a race to the bottom on fees and profitability? Doesn't seem like a great place to be strategically.
