Clifford Chance London litigation head Jeremy Sandelson (left) has been confirmed as the firm's new London managing partner. His appointment will start from 1 January 2006 following the announcement of the result of a partnership vote last week (26 October). Sandelson will now have a seat on the management committee and will also run the strategically important office in Dubai. He will continue as head of litigation for at least six months. He replaces Peter Charlton, who has been voted in as global head of the corporate practice.
