Salans hires Beiten Burkhardt capital markets team

European firm Salans has boosted its capital markets practice in Germany with the hire of a team from local independent Beiten Burkhardt.
Salans has appointed Robert Michels as a partner, Alexandra Zech as counsel and Olga Bergmann as associate.
All three will work from the firm’s Frankfurt office and focus on IPOs, rights issues, corporate bonds and public buy-outs, as well as certificates, warrants and other structured finance products.
The team has experience in handling IPOs for international companies, particularly those from Central and Eastern European and CIS countries.
Michels said: “We are looking forward to this new challenge. Salans’ international network provides the perfect environment for us to grow our practice and support our clients.”
