Weil Gotshal & Manges duo" />Salans has continued its attack on Central and Eastern Europe with the hire of high-profile Weil Gotshal & Manges property and finance partners Evan Lazar and Eric Rosedale, plus a pair of associates.
Lazar is the co-chair of Weil Gotshal’s European property finance group. He will join Salans’ Prague office with the two associates. Rosedale, who headed the property and finance group in Poland, will join the London office.
The pair will take on the newly created role of global co-heads of the property group.
Lazar has previously represented institutions and developers such as AIG/Lincoln, Central European Retail Property Fund, GE Capital Real Estate, HypoVereinsbank, Lehman Brothers and Marriott, while Rosedale has previously advised Pricoa Property Investment Management, Ster Century and GE Capital Golub Europe.
Last year, Salans took on a large portion of Altheimer & Grey, gaining 13 new partners, 44 other lawyers and new offices in Prague, Bratislava, Bucharest, Istanbul and Shanghai.
