Salans adds partners from SNR Denton and Willkie Farr to Paris team

Salans has continued the growth of its Paris office, scooping a duo of private equity partners from SNR Denton and Willkie Farr & Gallagher.
Pierre Jouglard was most recently a partner at SNR Denton, having previously worked in a number of French independent firms before joining legacy firm Denton Wilde Sapte in 2008.
Meanwhile, Emmanuel Scialom moves to Salans from Willkie Farr, having been made up as a partner there in 2005.
Both new partners specialise in private equity and M&A work and Scialom has a particular focus on large and mid-cap leveraged management buy-outs.
The hires follow the September announcement that Salans had hired Bird & Bird tax and IP practice heads Anne Quénedey and Isabelle Leroux (15 September 2011).
Willkie Farr has been the target for two other corporate hires this year in Paris. In January Weil Gotshal & Manges hires corporate big-hitter Laurent Faugérolas (31 January 2011), while corporate finance partner Stéphane Sabatier moved to Norton Rose in March.
