RPC brings in BLP man to boost tax disputes

Jonathan Levy, a former head of tax litigation at Ernst & Young, will lead RPC’s five-strong tax litigation team.

Firm managing partner Jonathan Watmough said: “Tax disputes has been a fast-growing area for ­several years now and it’s important to us that this growth ­continues.”

Levy had been a partner at BLP since January 2008, when he joined from tax boutique Levy Watters.

The hire comes three months after RPC recruited a new head of insolvency and restructuring, Vivien Tyrell, from Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge.
