Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC) has hired a new head of tax disputes from Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP).
Jonathan Levy, a former head of tax litigation at Ernst & Young, will lead RPC’s five-strong tax litigation team.
Firm managing partner Jonathan Watmough said: “Tax disputes has been a fast-growing area for several years now and it’s important to us that this growth continues.”
Levy had been a partner at BLP since January 2008, when he joined from tax boutique Levy Watters.
The hire comes three months after RPC recruited a new head of insolvency and restructuring, Vivien Tyrell, from Edwards Angell Palmer & Dodge.
