This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Royal Mail said it had slashed the number of advisers in a bid to drive down costs, improve efficiency, and achieve “better value-added services, whilst ensuring that the new panel could service all of the required areas to a high standard”.
The review was led by group general counsel Doug Evans. He said: “I’m delighted with the manner in which firms have responded to our review and am confident this new commercial law panel will fulfil Royal Mail’s requirements. I’d like to thank those firms that were unsuccessful in the review for the services they’ve provided to Royal Mail in the past.”
The new panel firms will sign up to a framework agreement from 1 December 2010 for a three-year term, with the option to extend for a further year. Royal Mail will continue to instruct Slaughter and May on corporate matters.
