Baker & McKenzie (B&M) is hiring the head of Rowe & Maw's aviation, transport and leisure group.
Mark Henrick boosts the number of partners in B&M's corporate department to 29, and adds capability in both private M&A and public company flotation work.
He will work closely with the firm's technology groups and the projects team, which will benefit from his experience of advising the aircraft and financing sectors.
While at Rowe & Maw, Henrick was involved in the financing of the Croydon Light Rail Project, and has advised clients that include Crest Packaging and the London Borough of Tower Hamlets.
B&M managing partner Russell Lewin says: "There are many areas where Mark can make a difference. He has a broad corporate practice, he'll add to our strength in international securities work and he'll be involved with the particular focus our corporate department has on technology, e-commerce and telecoms."
