This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
The property department at City firm Rowe & Maw is launching an online information system to give clients daily updates on the progress of their deals.
Each major investment acquisition, disposal or management project will have its own website which is accessible to the client, their agents and funders, with their own passwords and usernames. Information including transaction summaries, status reports and tenancy data will be posted on the website.
Property partner Iain Thomas says clients have been demanding the service.
He says: "It was clear from experience in acting on large-scale investment acquisitions and disposals that such an online information system will streamline the process.
"It will lead to cost and time savings and will be of real benefit in dealing with large investment properties."
The firm acts for property clients including St Modwen Developments, Lend Lease, Phillips and Drew Fund Management and Hanover Property Unit Trust.
Last year Rowe & Maw transacted more than £140m worth of shopping centre sales and acquisitions.
