Rosalind Wright is to replace George Staple QC as the chairman of the Fraud Advisory Panel. The panels main role is to publicise the damage caused to the economy by fraud.
Wright is currently the director of the Serious Fraud Office, and will replace Staple when he steps down in May.
Wright said: "The panel still has a substantial job to do in terms of alerting the public and business to the dangers of fraud and persuading the Government to make it a higher priority. Im very much looking forward to leading the panel in its work."
