Spanish firm Roca Junyent has enjoyed solid growth this year, boosting its revenue by 13 per cent.
The firm posted a turnover of e36.3m (£29m), up from last year's total of e32m (£25m), breaking through its target of 11 per cent growth after a year of acting on large corporate deals.
The biggest deal for the firm saw founding partner Miguel Roca Junyent act for the corporate and bank owners of Applus Servicios Tecnológicos on its sale to Carlyle for e1.48bn (£1.2bn) last August.
Last week Roca Junyent bolstered its competition group, hiring a team from Allen & Overy's Madrid office. Counsel Pedro Callol moved to the Spanish firm as a partner, taking associate Jorge Manzarbeitia with him.
Callol will be based in Madrid, but will make frequent trips to the firm's Barcelona base.
