Newcastle-based Robert Muckle has beefed up its practice with the appointment of two commercial partners.
Alan Grisedale, formerly a senior lawyer with Newcastle's Dickinson Dees, has joined the firm's commercial team as a partner and head of the public sector practice.
Matt Collen, who was previously a partner at Ward Hadaway, also based in Newcastle, has also joined Robert Muckle's commercial team as partner.
Robert Muckle's managing partner Stephen McNicol said the hires are a mark of the firm's continued progression, adding that the firm has ambitious plans for further growth.
Last month (11 May) The Lawyer revealed that McNicol was re-elected as managing partner for a further three-year term, while partner Hugh Welch was handed the senior partner role. Having previously held both the managing and senior partner roles, Welch took over the senior partner position from Ian Gilthorpe, who returned to a full-time fee-earning role.
