REVENUE at Hewitsons inched up by
£500,000 to £17.3m, a 3 per cent rise on last
year that puts it in fourth place.
Hewitsons' slow but steady growth is
partly down to digesting a shake-up of
senior management, which took effect early
last year.
Commercial property specialist Alan Brett
took over the role of senior partner after 10 years
as managing partner, replacing senior partner
Ian Barnett, who continued as head of
agricultural law.
John Dix stepped into the managing partner
role from his previous position as head of the
firm's corporate section.
Hewitsons' main practice areas of
corporate and commercial, property and
private client are split fairly evenly and are
in good shape to continue growing in the
future.
