YORKSHIRE firm Lupton Fawcett has been
growing steadily, but saw its expansion slow a
little this year.
Its revenue grew, but not by all that much. The
top line was up by £500,000 to £10.75m,
representing a rise of around 5 per cent. This
slower growth was partly attributable to the loss
of its insurance litigation practice more than 18
months ago.
The firm's total headcount dropped by 13
over the past year, but the number of feeearners
is up by eight, to 92 in total. Lateral hires
will help Lupton Fawcett grow faster in the
future, with the firm bagging Gordons
insolvency head David Smillie in July this year.
