KEEBLE Hawson just makes it into The Rising
50 main table this year, increasing turnover by
£800,000 to reach £10.8m.
Last year Sheffield-based Keeble Hawson
won Standard Life as a key client after holding
off competition from 20 other firms in a beauty
parade. The firm bagged the role of adviser for
Standard Life's new pension product, as well as
providing advice to Standard Life on
commercial property investments.
Since then, though, Keeble Hawson has had
to reshape its corporate group. In the summer
of 2005, firmwide head of corporate Sharon
Needle moved to Watson Burton. Keeble
Hawson hired two partners from local
rivals Eversheds and Ford & Warren in
February 2006.
Paul Johnson joined from Eversheds to
oversee the firm's corporate and business
services group in Leeds, while Rachel Neems
was the head of corporate at Ford & Warren
when she joined Keeble Hawson.
