WITHY King registered an impressive 18 per
cent rise in turnover to £11.15m on the previous
year, and stated its ambitions clearly when it
opened a small outpost in London, near Green
Park.
The other major initiative was in the volume
market. It opened its separate retail shop
Complete, which offers conveyancing and wills
advice from non-lawyers.
Aside from the London opening, other
highlights this year include hiring offshore tax
expert James McNeile as a partner from Farrer
& Co. Withy also made up one partner internally
this year. The firm now has 30 partners.
