SOUTH West firm Michelmores has shown
steady growth this year, adding an extra £1.3m
to its revenue to reach £11.3m.
Last year the firm hired Carol McCormack
from Berwin Leighton Paisner to head its
projects and PFI department, which she
promptly grew from two lawyers to six.
Four more partners have joined the firm
laterally since then, including commercial
partner Brian Chadwick from Hextalls and
three private client partners from Foot Anstey,
Charlesworth Nicholl & Co and Macfarlanes.
The firm anticipates further growth in
turnover and lawyer count, expanding its
Exeter offices by 10,000sq ft, or 33 per cent.
Michelmores projects that its London office will
grow by 50 per cent next year, prompting the
move to larger premises.
