TAYLORVinters has expanded solidly, growing
its revenue from £12m to £13m over the course
of the last year.
The extra £1m represents a growth of 8 per
cent, slightly more than The Rising 50 average.
Taylor Vinters has targeted its traditional
practice areas of IP and IT as growth sectors for
the future.
The firm seems intent on bringing most of its
lateral hires in from Eversheds, which is a
regional rival in East Anglia.
Last year the firm scooped Eversheds national
IP head Patrick Farrant, who was joined a few
months later by Eversheds Cambridge IT group
head Matt Meyer.
The hires look to have paid off. At the
beginning of the year Taylor Vinters completed
two IT deals worth more than $30m (£15.8m)
for US clients. Meyer and his team worked
through Christmas Day and the New Year
break to finish the deals.
