THE SOLID growth at multinational
partnership (MNP) Semple Fraser continued
throughout 2005-06, with the Scottish firm
registering a 20 per cent increase in turnover
to £13m.
Managing partner Alister Fraser claims the
property practice in particular benefited from
the change to MNP status, with an increase in
work on both sides of the England-Scotland
border. Longstanding property clients include
Tesco, British Land and Land Securities.
Rather than offer a full service across the
board, Semple Fraser's strategy is to focus on
the six core areas of property, banking, projects,
construction, waste and extractive industries,
such as North Sea-related work and quarrying,
with a full-service offering to these groups.
