GLASGOWand Manchester-based Golds has
just 19 qualified lawyers among its staff of 370,
as the firm has a full-time offering of
commoditised work for lenders. The strategy
has paid of, however, with senior partner Stephen Gold reporting a 25 per cent increase in profit
as the firm posted a £1m rise in turnover.
Golds is a leading volume insurance firm in
Scotland, specialising in motor claims work. It
aims to target the UK debt recovery market in
the coming year and has signed several
contracts with leading banks to handle volume
work, which management is hoping will secure
a healthy increase in turnover and profit.
