IT WAS a remarkable year of growth for the
East Midlands' Flint Bishop & Barnett.
Revenue rose by a stunning 47 per cent from
£8.8m, putting it squarely into The Rising 50 for the first time with £12.95m.
The increase was all organic. Indeed, managing partner Ken Dixon said the firm
had "shunned" several merger offers. Instead,
it plumped for a new office in Nottingham in
March 2005 to cater for growth in fee-earners.
It also added a number of laterals recently,
including Barry Sankey from Shoosmiths,
corporate finance partner Gavin White from
HBJ Gateley Wareing and wills and probate
department head Grace Steele from Nelsons.
